Over one hundred people stranded on Arranmore overnight

arranmore boatsFerry services have resumed on Arranmore Island this morning after over a hundred people where left stranded there last night due to adverse weather conditions.
Gale force winds heavy rain lashed the Donegal coast last night, making the ferry crossing from Arranmore to Burtonport too dangerous to undertake.
The decision left over 100 hundred people ‘stuck’ on the island.
