Griffin misses out on World Final

Ireland’s involvement at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Oregon USA ended last night when Donegal’s Karl Griffin missed out on a place in the final of the 800m.
After easing into the semi’s on Friday, the Tir Chonail athlete was disappointed with his performance which seen him finish fourth last night.
Griffin’s semi final time was 1:49.97.
The Irish team was coached by Finn Valley’s Neil Martin.
