Duffy hat trick moves Derry up to fifth in the Premier Division

Derry City put their European exit disappointment behind them by beating UCD 6-1
Michael Duffy will take home the match ball this evening after scoring a hat trick at the Bowl in Dublin.
Duffy’s contribution seen him score the opening goal in the 20th minute and then two in two minutes in the 50th and 52nd minute after some poor defending by the students.
Rory Patterson scored two for Derry, his first came three minutes before the break and the other deep in injury time at the end of the game.
Barry Molloy was the third scorer for the candystrips,  he netted on 90 minutes.
The victory was Derry’s second league win on the road this season and moves Peter Hutton’s side up to fifth in the table.
