Pats bow out of Champions League in Poland

Pats Fans 0714St Patrick's Athletic have seen their European campaign end in disappointing fashion.

Liam Buckley's side suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat tonight to Legia Warsaw, which saw them knocked-out of the Champions League qualifiers, 6-1 on aggregate.

After battling to a 1-all draw in Poland last week, the Saints had given themselves a chance at securing a lucrative third round qualifier clash with Celtic at the Aviva Stadium.

But striker Miroslav Radovic scored twice for Warsaw tonight as the Polish side scored three times in the final 10 minutes to wrap-up a convincing victory and set-up a third round match-up against the SPL champions.
