The GAA and AFL have announced a number of rule changes for November's International Rules test in Perth.

Goalkeepers must now kick the ball out beyond the 45 metre line following all overs, behinds and wides.

The number of permitted consecutive handpasses has risen from four to six.

Interchanges have been increased to fifteen per quarter, while marks have been eliminated for backwards kicks.

The Paterson's Stadium in Perth will play host to Australia and Ireland on Saturday November 22nd.
