Irish Water Safety concerned at number of divers deaths

Irish Water Safety says it is extremely concerned at the recent number of deaths in diving accidents.
The death of 57 year-old Rev Dr Stewart Jones on Saturday brought to 5 the number of divers deaths in a short space of time.
Dr Jones from Donemana died after getting into difficulty while diving off St John’s Point – while last month a 45 year-old Polish man died in a diving accident off Malin Head.
The Irish Water Safety group has issued advice to divers – spokesperson John Leech issued this advice:
