Bans on Armagh trio upheld

Armagh GaaArmagh players Andy Mallon, Brendan Donaghy and Kieran Toner have failed with their appeals to the GAA’s Central Appeals Commitee against the one-match bans for fighting at the start of the Ulster Championship clash with Cavan.
Their appeals were heard last night and as things stand they will miss this Saturday’s provincial semi final against Monaghan.
Having had their original appeal to the hearings commitee last weekend upheld, a Croke Park statement today confirmed that discipline breaches had been proven again.
They can make further pleas to the Disputes Resolution Authority.
