Council official promises education report recommendations will be followed through

A Senior Donegal County Council official says the findings of a report published this week into difficulties in the education sector in Donegal will not be allowed sit on a shelf
Liam Ward is Chair of the Economic Security Sub-group of the council’s Childrens Services Committee which commissioned the report.
It found that further cuts in education resourcesd in Donegal will lead to a knowledge and skills shortage in the county, and increase the risk of poverty.
Mr Ward says the findings will be used by the council and other bodies in their interactions with the government……………
