A Donegal Councillor says the decision by An Post to retain the Post Office at Leitermacaward is a direct result of the efforts of the local community.
Cllr Marie Therese Gallagher says she’s been told by the An Post’s main spokesperson that the case made by the committee formed following a public meeting in the area in April was the main reason for the retention of the facility.
