It is claimed the Chair of the West/North West hospital group has shares in a company that compiled a controversial report on the future of maternity services in the region.
Senator Mark Mac Sharry says Noel Daly’s reported involvement in the private company that was asked to carry out the report raises very serious questions that must be addressed immediately.
Senator Mac Sharry also believes the revelations call into question Mr Daly’s position at the helm of the hospital group and it calls into question the group’s management of this entire ‘review’.
