North West 200 racer Simon Andrews dies

simon andrewsA motorbike racer who was involved in an accident at the North West 200 on Saturday has died.
England’s Simon Andrews passed away on Monday in a Belfast Hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash which happened at the Metropole section of the North West circuit.
The 29-year-old from Worcestershire was riding for the Penz13.com BMW team.
The crash was the second serious accident at this year’s races.
His accident comes after Franck Petricola crashed during a practice session on Tuesday.
The Frenchman is also being treated at the Royal, where his condition is described as critical.
