Letterkenny Town Council holds its last monthly meeting

Last Letterkenny Town CouncilLetterkenny Town Council has held its final statutory monthly meeting before it is abolished at the end of the month.

Councillors must come together one more time towards the end of the month to ratify the minutes of last night’s meeting, the last in the history of the council which was founded in 1899.
Cllr Jim Lynch, one of the four members who are stepping down from public life, says last night’s meeting was an emotional one.
