Coleman named Everton’s Player of the Season

Seamus Coleman has been named Everton's Player of the Season.

The Republic of Ireland international collected the top prize to complete an awards evening double after earlier winning the Players' Player of the Season accolade.

Coleman, whose buccaneering performances throughout the campaign had seen him net an impressive seven goals from right-back, was the clear winner in the online fan vote.

Coleman's contributions over the last year have also been recognised by his Premier League peers who last week voted the 25-year-old in the PFA Team of the Year.
