Donegal North East Deputy Joe MC Hugh says he believes progress will be made when parents of children with Type 1 Diabetes meet with Minister James Reilly tomorrow in Dublin.
The meeting comes on foot of a campaign to secure the services of a specialist nurse for children with diabetes in Letterkenny General Hospital, but is also expected to address the fact that there is no specialist diabetes service in the West and North West of the country.
Deputy Mc Hugh says management at Letterkenny General Hospital and the West and North West Hospitals Group have been meeting on the issue over the past number of days, and he believes there is a very real possibility of substantial progress tomorrow………..
