Work on Strabane pedestrian bridge to commence in the Summer

pedestrianbridgeWork on a new pedestrian bridge in Strabane is to commence this summer.
The new bridge, which will link the Ballycolman and the Head of the Town areas, is expected to be completed by the Summer of 2015.
The project was said to be in tatters in November 2011 after Strabane Council failed to appoint a contractor. It’s expected that it will cost in the region of 3 million pounds.
Local Cllr Karina Carlin says the bridge is much needed………
