Donegal beat Louth in Ballyshannon

Colm Mc Fadden 2Donegal returned to winning ways in Ballyshannon today beating Louth 1-19 to 3-7.

Donegal lead by 9 points at the break but conceded two soft goals in the second half which reduced their advantage to 3 points but they response quickly with David Walsh sticking the ball in the net.

After that they enforced their dominance once again and ran out comfortable 6 points winners.

Colm Mc Fadden top scored with 7 points while Michael Murphy hit 0-4 and the midfielders of Christy Toye and Rory Kavanagh pointed 0-3 and 0-2 respectively.

Donegal and Monaghan share top spot on 9pts and a win for Jim Mc Guinness' side next week against Armagh would put them into the division 2 league final.

Oisin Kelly spoke with Donegal selector Damien Diver after the win.
