A local election candidate is calling for the introduction of a one-way system in Letterkenny in an effort to ease traffic congestion.
Labour’s Christy Galligan has drawn up his own traffic management plan which includes that proposal as well as the upgrading of access roads and progression of the Bonagee link.
Traffic in the town ground to a halt last week following a single vehicle crash on the Port Road.
