It’s hoped that tourism in Inishowen will be boosted by the opening at the weekend of a major new attraction in Burt.
A new visitors’ centre has opened in the grounds of An Grianan Hotel, exploring the history of the nearby Grianan Fort and Burt Castle.
The Old Church Visitors’ Centre also explores the mythological origins of the Irish people and themed Celtic Feasts will also be offered at the hotel.
