Letterkenny Chamber is seeking a meeting with local councillors and other bodies to discuss plans to employ a Town Centre Manager to identify gaps in the retail make up of the town centre.
It’s part of an initiative to employ a ‘Town Team’ which will look at how to revitalise the revive the Main Street and traditional town centre area.
The news comes as Letterkenny Town Council prepares to discuss a motion from Cllr Jim Lynch calling for an evaluation of both the old and new retail areas.
Chamber CEO Toni Forrester says similar initiatives in other areas have worked well………..
