Man in court in Dungloe on Child Pornography charges

A 43-year-old man has appeared at Dungloe District Court, accused of possessing child pornography.
The court was told it would take at least a half-day to try the case. Inspector David Kelly said there were 14 Garda witnesses in the case and some of the evidence would be of a technical nature.
The man, who cannot be named at this stage because of a restriction imposed by the court, is charged with possession of child pornography at an address in Letterkenny on August 2, 2011.
The case was adjourned for hearing to May 13.
