A border poll campaign which has been launched in Strabane and Lifford has been branded nothing more that a “public relations exercise”.
Only a narrow section of communities on either side of the border will get to have their say in the ‘United Ireland – You Decide’ poll.
Residents of Strabane’s East Ward which runs from the Head of the Town to the Ballycolman Lane and Lifford’s Clonleigh will go to the polls on November 23. No one else will be able to vote.
