Up to 50 people turnout for protest outside Deputy Joe McHughs office in Letterkenny


protestUp to 50 people turned out for a protest outside Donegal North East Deputy Joe McHughs constituency office this lunchtime.

During the rally anti-austerity protesters handed a letter of resignation into the Fine Gael Deputies office.
The protest organisers want Deputy McHugh to sign the letter and send it to Enda Kenny. But Deputy McHugh has branded the move as a ‘stunt’.

Meanwhile, one of the organisers of todays protest has played down that the turnout was disappointing.
