Donegal drawn with Derry in next years Championship

Donegal GAA CrestDonegal will begin their 2014 Ulster Championship campaign with a quarter-final clash away to Derry.

The draw for the championship was made yesterday evening and threw up some very interesting pairings with the Ulster Championship starting with a preliminary round clash between Tyrone and Down.

The prize for the winner is a date with reigning champions Monaghan. Much focus will also be on the pairing of Derry v Donegal in the quarter-final.

In the other quarter-finals, Armagh entertain Cavan, and Fermanagh host Antrim.

The Semi-Finals see the victors of Tyrone/Down/Monaghan v Armagh/Cavan on one side of the draw while the winners of Donegal and Derry will take on the winners of Fermanagh and Antrim.
