Ulster Senior League win Intropro for 2nd time

Donal O'BrienFor only the 2nd time in the League’s history, The Ulster Senior League won the Intermediate Interprovincial Tournament in Sligo over the weekend.
Two wins and a draw was enough for the Ulster men under the management of Donal O’Brien and Trevor Scanlon to lift the Michael Ward Trophy.
Ulster who drew with the Leinster Senior League in their opening match on Friday followed that with a 9-0 hammering of Connacht on Saturday where Conor Carlin scored a hat trick.
The title was sealed on Sunday where Garbhan Friel scored the only goal of the game against Munster to give Ulster the Interpro title for the first time since 1996.
Joint Manager Donal O’Brien was delighted with the win.
