43 deaths on the A5 between Aughnacloy and Derry since 1998

action for a5There has been 43 deaths on the A5 road since 1998.

The Action for A5 group obtained the figures after making a freedom of information request to the PSNI.

Since 1998, 43 people have lost their lives as a result of road traffic accidents on the A5 between Favor Royal Road in Aughnacloy and Spencer Road, Derry.

Spokesperson for the Action for A5 group, Pat Darcy said any further delays in the A5 project, could result in more deaths on our roads:
