Parents of Special Needs Children present petition to council for retention of pre-schools

A group of parents of children with special needs from Donegal have presented a petition to the Council today.
The ‘Let Me Be Me’ Campaign are calling for the retention of St Agnes’ Specialist Pre School in Donegal Town and Ballaghderg pre-school in Letterkenny.
Last week Donegal Senator Brian O’Domhnail said that he had confirmation from the Health Minister that those two special pre schools will close before the end of 2015.
Avril McMonagle, spokesperson for the ‘Let Me Be Me’ Campaign, said they will leave no stone unturned in order to secure the future of the two schools:
