More reaction from the Donegal International Rally

The 2013 Donegal International Rally produced its far share of thrills and spills in some testing conditions over the three days.

Sunday had its drama with Sam Moffett and James O’Reilly taking the win after Garry Jennings and Neil Doherty were hit with a three minute penalty.

Donegal’s Donagh Kelly and Derry’s Kevin Flanagan took second after  Derek Mc Garrity stopped in Fanad.

Jennings and Doherty recovered from 5th to take vital championships points coming home third while Group N was won by Monaghan brother and sister Stephen and Suzanne Wright.

Oisn Kelly got reaction from Stephen Wright, Gary Jennings and first of all Donagh Kelly at the finish ramp in Letterkenny.

Monaghan took a clean sweep at the weekend with Gary Mc Philips and Paul Sheridan winning the National Rally.

Just 1.7 seconds separated Mc Philips and Sheridan from Manus Kelly and Donal Barrett heading into the final stage.

The win went to Mc Philips after Manus slipped of the road in Fanad.

Tyrone’s Frank Kelly and Stephen Quinn finished 2nd while Damien Gallagher and Mac Walsh were the top Donegal crew in third.
