Ballybofey to Glenfin road re-opens following fatal road traffic collision

Motorists are advised the main Ballybofey to Glenfin Road in Donegal has re-opened following a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning which claimed the life of one man and injured four others
The dead man has been named locally as 18 year0old Shane Brolly from Greenhill, Convoy.
He was a back seat passenger in one of the cars. Four others were brought to hospital, but their injuries are said not to be life threatening.
Speaking on today’s Shaun Doherty Show, Inspector Michael Harrison appealed for information on the crash which happened about 300 metres beyond Jacksons Hotel.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man has died in hospital, a week after he was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
The crash, which involved a silver BMW happened on the Coole Road happened last Sunday.
