Gardai appeal for information regarding Kerry murder investigation’s

Gardai have formally upgraded their investigation into the deaths of a mother and her daughter in Killorglin, Co. Kerry to murder.
The bodies of 27-year-old Jolanta and 8-year-old Enrika Lubite were found at their house in Langford Downs on Sunday night.
The pair had suffered violent deaths.
Details of the post mortem examinations, which were completed earlier at Kerry General Hospital, are not being released by Gardai at this point.
Up to 50 national and local Gardai are investigating the double murder and a full incident room has been set up at Killarney Garda station.
Jolanta was last seen alive on Saturday afternoon at around 10 to 2 making her way home on foot after shopping in Killorglin.
Superintendent Flor Murphy has told Radio Kerry that Gardai are investigating all of the circumstances of the deaths at this point.
“Our technical bureau and forensic experts are still at the scene and are still in control. As I said I would appeal for any information, this was a horrific crime. A mother and daughter have been murdered in their own home. I would appeal to anybody, all your listeners, they must have information and must be able to assist us, please help us”.
