Up to 800 people turn out to march in support of Dungloe District Hospital

Despite a rainswept and windy afternoon hundreds of  people of the Rosses came out to parade in support of the reopening of 10 beds that have been closed recently at the hospital recently.
The parade was led by st cronas band Dungloe, and hundreds of people followed the band, down Dungloe main St, and over to the Dungloe hospital where band recited a number of tunes.
The crowd were thanked by Pat Glackin a member of the organising committee, who committed to redouble their efforts and keep the campaign going until all beds are reopened.
Local Councillor Marie Therese Gallagher says Saturday’s huge turnout should send a strong message to the decision makers:
