Derry & Harps enter League break in contrasting fashion

Derry City and Finn Harps enter the Airtricty League Summer break on the back of much different performances.
Derry sit three points of the leaders St Patricks Athletic following Friday’s 3-2 victory away to Bray Wanderers and St Pats 2  -1 defeat to Dundalk.
Rory Patterson scored twice at the Carlisle Grounds while Patrick Mc Eleney grabbed the first.

Finn Harps have been struggling in recent weeks and suffered their third straight defeat on Friday losing 2-1 to bottom side Salthill in Galway.
It was an 89th minute winner which gave the home side the points and just their second win of the season.
Harps have slipped to fifth in the standings, now 10 points behind the leaders Longford Town.
Harps boss Peter Hutton was again disappointed by his sides performance…
