Reilly: I have grave concerns over HSE Savita report

The Minister for Health says he has grave concerns following his reading of the HSE report into the death of Savita Halappannavar.
The findings of the review by a panel of seven experts will be published this afternoon.
31-year-old Savita died from septicaemia at University Hospital in Galway last October following a miscarriage.
Minister James Reilly says he has written to her husband Praveen offering to meet with him. And he says this report, along with a HIQA review, will help to provide answers.
“It’s fairly straight forward, straight hitting, spares nobody and says it like it is” he said.
“I believe when we have that report published and the HIQA report to hand – which is not far away I understand – and the Coroner’s report, we’ll be in a position to give a very full response”.
“I have to say having read the report, I have very grave concerns – there’s no question about that” he added.
