Lisa Culbert has formally taken the seat vacated on Letterkenny Town council by the passing of her father Tadhg.
Fianna Fail TD Charlie McConalogue was among those in attendance to see the 27 year-old take her seat last night.
Councillor Lisa Culbert, who works as a Clerical Officer in the Outpatients Department in Letterkenny General Hospital, says she is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
