Walkers urged to take extra care following 2nd emergency rescue in two days

Rescue services have responded to an emergency call in the Malin Head area, the second in two days.
On Wednesday afternoon a man has suffered a broken leg in a fall in the Dunalderagh area.
He was tended to at the scene by a rescue crew before being transported to hospital by the  him to hospital by the Sligo based rescue helicopter.
A similar operation was carried out on Tuesday – a Dutch woman was airlifted to hospital with a broken ankle after falling on rocks.
The 49-year-old from Holland was treated for her injury at Alnagelvin Hospital.
Divisional Co-ordinator with Malin Head Coastguard, Derek Flanaghan is asking walkers out on the coast or cliffs let people know were they are going and when they are expected back:
