Donegal County Council has unanimously opposed any HSE plans to close the special needs preschool in Letterkenny.
The council has agreed with a Councillor Michael McBride motion to oppose the plans with that message to be echoed by Donegal representatives at Tuesday’s HSE regional Forum Weest meeting in Galway.
The HSE intends to integrate children attending Special Needs preschools into main stream schools but parents warn that will not suit all children with special needs.
