Ulster Championship Preview – Donegal

Donegal go in search of the magic three in a row Ulster titles this Sunday as the All Ireland Champions begin their defence of the Anglo Celt Cup against Tyrone in Ballybofey.
If you needed a blockbuster to start the provincial campaign, there’s none bigger than a North West  Donegal Tyrone derby.
The last team to do the three in a row was Armagh in the mid 2000’s while Tyrone were on course only for Donegal’s intervention in 2011.
Despite a disappointing league this season where they were relegated from Division 1, the focus of Jim Mc Guinness’ players was always on the 26th May.
With the tag of All Ireland Champions, every county this year will be looking to knock Donegal but Captain Michael Murphy says the team don’t look at it like that and are focused on the task at hand…

Gweedore’s Eamon Mc Gee knows the defending champions will be in a real battle on Sunday…

Kilcars Mark Mc Hugh is expecting a very intense start…
