We understand that Donegal has retained its 13 Blue Flags for 2013, and is now the county with the highest number of Blue Flags in the country after Mayo lost one.
However, it’s understood the Green Flag at Ladies Bay in Buncrana will be lost.
The Environment Minister will today confirm Blue Flags for Bundoran, Rossnowlagh, Murvagh, Fintra, Narin (Portnoo), Carrickfinn, Killahoey (Dunfanaghy), Marblehill, Portsalon, Lisfannon, Shroove, Culdaff and Downings.
