Kenny says arguments over the economy should stop

The Taoiseach says the endless arguments over the economic direction Europe has to take must stop.
Enda Kenny was speaking amid hopes of a breakthrough on agreeing a new EU budget.
The European Parliament has agreed to talks with the Commission next week.
Mr. Kenny has told the Dáil that Europe has to stop fighting and implement the policies for recovery and job creation.
“Leadership demonstrates to people that it’s serious about its business; rather than having endless – and I mean endless – about different economic theories that may or may not be relevant” he said.
“For now Europe has made its decisions and it should follow through on those”.
“And any new policy should be additional to the decisions that have already been made” he added
