Donegal’s preparations for the Championship opener against Tyrone received a huge boost last night with the return of Karl Lacey.
The 2012 Player of the Year returned to action playing the full game in a challenge match against Galway behind closed doors in Sligo.
It was Lacey’s first game for Donegal since the All Ireland Final due to hip surgery before Christmas.
It was a good night all round for the All Ireland Champions with Neil Gallagher, Paddy Mc Grath and Neil and Eamon Mc Gee all playing.
Meanwhile Mark McHugh sat out the game but is expected to return to full training next week.
