Mc Hugh undecided on how he will vote on abortion bill

There’s mounting unease in Fine Gael over the Government’s abortion legislation plans, after former Taoiseach John Bruton intervened in the debate.
In an article in today’s Irish Independent, Mr. Bruton argues that suicide should not be a basis for an abortion – saying he knows of no other area of law where a threat of suicide is grounds to make legal something that would otherwise be illegal.
Galway TD Brian Walsh confirmed today he will not vote for the forthcoming bill.
Meanwhile, Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh has said he will be considering his position before making a final decision.
