Harps suffer first home defeat

Finn Harps lost at home for the first time last Friday night going down one nil to Waterford United.

The only goal in a scrappy game came with thirteen minutes to go as Paudie Crossan nodded home from close range to give the visitors the points in Ballybofey.

With two away games to come against Cobh and LongfordTown, Harps sit third in the standings one point behind Mervue and seven behind the leaders Longford.

Speaking with Diarmaid Doherty Harps Manager Peter Hutton was disappointed with the defeat.
