A Letterkenny Town Cllr has called on management at Letterkenny General Hospital to address the cleanliness issues immediately.
A report by HIQA which was released yesterday, criticised hygiene at the hospital, describing three clinical areas inspected in February as unclean.
The areas were Surgical 1, Maternity and the Emergency Department.
Local Cllr Gerry McMonagle said he’s alarmed by the report, and he believes cutbacks at the hospital are to blame…
