BBC Radio 1 confirm website difficulties, tickets will be available tomorrow morning

BBC Radio 1 have confirmed that their website has crashed due to technical difficulties.
Tickets for the One Big Weekend Event in Derry will now not be available until tomorrow morning.
Tickets were due to be made available from 9 o clock this morning.
BBC Radio confirmed that due to technical issues Radio’1s Big Weekend tickets will now not be available until 9AM tomorrow morning.
People are advised not to try and access the Radio 1’s Big Weekend website or call the ticket line until that time.
Radio 1 has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
The event comes to Derry for three days on from Friday the 22nd to Sunday the 24th of May.
The three day concert is being held in Ebrington Square, and 37,500 tickets are being made available for the event.
45% of tickets will go to the Derry City Council area, 45% will go to the rest of Northern Ireland and the remaining 10% will go to the rest of the Repubic of Ireland.
