Court told there are six reports outstanding in Derry rocket find case

Derry Magistrate's Court was told today that there are reports still outstanding in the case involving three Derrymen charged in connection with the finding of a rocket in a car in the city in December.

A Crown lawyer was giving an update in the case of 47 year old Damien Harkin from Westland Avenue, 42 year old Jason Lee Ceulman from Lecky Road and 47-year-old Neil Christopher Hegarty, from Sackville Street.

The court was told the file had been submitted to the PPS but that various reports including forensics and explosive reports were still outstanding.

Some of those reports are due this week and the rest next month.

However the lawyer said that while these were target dates for the reports there was no guarantee they would be adhered to.

All three were further remanded in custody to appear again on April 22.
