Man dies in Galway crash

Gardaí are investigating after a man died in a fatal road traffic collision in Galway.
The Headford to Galway Road remains closed at the scene, about six miles from Galway city.
The single vehicle collision occurred before a quarter to three this morning – a 31 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí in Galway are trying to establish the exact time of the crash – they’re appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
