Evidence served on Sean Fitzpatrick

The first of 12 volumes of evidence has been served on former Anglo Irish Bank Chairman Sean FitzPatrick.
The 64 year old has been sent forward for trial to Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 12 charges of making false, misleading or deceptive statements to the bank’s auditors, Ernst and Young.
The court heard  11 more files have yet to be delivered to the defence and the sum on the final charge is nearly 140 million euro.
Sean Fitzpatrick will make his first appearance on these charges on the 22nd March.
