The IMPACT Trade Union will be in the Dáil today to brief Donegal and Sligo TD’s and Senators about concerns on the future funding and management of the two North West General Hospitals.
The union has expressed its concerns ahead the much awaited “Higgins Report”, which is due to be released in the coming weeks.
The report could see hospitals grouped together with a central teaching hospital attached to it.
Speaking ahead of the Oireachtas briefing, Richy Carrothers, IMPACT North West Assistant General Secretary said decisions effecting the Northwest could end being taken in Galway…..
