Mc Hugh wants IDA investment in Donegal under new jobs plan

mchughThe government is to pay employers to take people off the dole.
Under a new action plan for jobs, the State will pay one euro of every four euro it costs an employer to take a long term unemployed person off the live register.
The measure is one of 333 actions to be implemented by 16 government departments this year.
Other measures include increasing the number of graduates working in the IT sector, and boosting the number of businesses trading online.
Among the other provisions is the sitting of specific targets for the IDA, with 130 new investments being sought.
Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh says he’ll be pressing to secure at least some of those in Donegal……………
