Fianna Fail to host public meetings on CAP this weekend

Fianna Fail are inviting the public to two information evenings on the Common Agriculture Policy taking place in Inishowen and Letterkenny tomorrow (Sunday).

The meetings follow confirmation in the the EU Budget of a reduction for both the Single Farm Payment and the Rural Development Programme.

Overall however, farming groups believe that the agreement has minimised planned cuts to the CAP Budget.
