Soccer – Former Derry City Stars To Start For Republic.

Former Derry City striker Conor Sammon will make his Republic of Ireland debut tonight against Poland.
The Derby forward has been included in Giovanni Trapattoni’s starting team for the game at the Aviva Stadium along with the likes of James McClean and David Forde .
Another former Brandywell player  Forde starts in goal. The Millwall stopper is rewarded as he’s the only keeper in the squad who’s playing regularly for his club while McClean will operate on the wing.
Former Ireland international Kevin Kilbane believes that Trap could be considering handing Sammon a shock start during next month’s World Cup qualifier in Sweden…
